Orange Glazed Turkey Meatballs
Ingredients
12 ozs Extra Lean Ground Turkey
2 tbsps Cilantro (chopped, plus extra for garnish)
1/3 White Onion (small, diced)
2 Garlic (cloves, minced)
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 1/2 tsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/3 cup Orange Juice
2 tbsps Lime Juice
1 1/2 tsps Honey
Directions
Combine the ground turkey, cilantro, white onion, garlic, and salt in a bowl. Roll the mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls.
Add the oil to a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the meatballs for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Meanwhile, combine the orange juice, lime juice, and honey. Add the mixture to the skillet with the meatballs. Turn the heat down to a simmer and cook for another five to six minutes or until the sauce thickens and the meatballs are cooked through.
Top with cilantro, divide evenly between plates, and enjoy!
Notes
Leftovers: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to three days.
Serving Size: One serving is equal to approximately four meatballs.
More Flavor: Add tarragon or mint to the meatballs.
Additional Toppings: Green onion, chopped cashews, sesame seeds.
